Veterinarian, animal behaviorist and author Sophia Yin will speak on her step-by-step program for improving our understanding of dogs and their behavior from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.
Yin, who will speak in the Blanchard Room, makes animal behavior house calls, works at San Francisco Veterinary Specialists, writes for several veterinary and popular magazines and has consulted for several zoos. She also lectures and teaches workshops internationally on animal behavior and low stress handling and has served as a behavior expert for shows such as “Dogs 101” on Animal Planet.
She is the author of numerous books and publication. Book signing and sales will follow her presentation.
