Architecture in Davis, on ‘Davisville’

By From page A3 | July 23, 2014

Architect Robert Lindley, who has designed several buildings in Davis over a 30-year career, talks about what defines good architecture in Davis on the latest edition of “Davisville.”

Other subjects: the future of downtown, walkable design, why the Mondavi Center works, why it’s easier to do a bad building than a good one, why good design matters (“it’s where we spend our lives,” he says), and more.

“Davisville,” hosted by Bill Buchanan, airs on KDRT, 95.7 FM, at 5:30 p.m. Mondays, 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays and 7:30 a.m. Saturdays. The interview with Lindley debuted Monday and will be broadcast through Aug. 2. It is also available online at http://kdrt.org/davisville.
