Art Center offers beginning sewing class

The Davis Art Center will offer a four-week beginning sewing class taught by Elaine Busch on Tuesdays, Sept. 11-Oct. 2, from 6:45 to 9:15 p.m. The sewing class is designed for ages 13 through adult and will guide students through four projects which they will complete in the class sessions.

The completed projects will include a simple market bag, lounge pants, a decorative pillow and a small zippered bag. No previous sewing experience is necessary.

The fee is $70 for Art Center members and $80 for the general public. To enroll, stop by the Art Center at 1919 F. St., call (530) 756-4100 or register online at www.davisartcenter.org.
