Art Center offers ‘Fantastic Fiction’ class

The Davis Art Center is offering a six-week creative writing class for adults ages 17 and up from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, starting Feb. 21. The class will explore short fiction inspired by fables, myths and fairy tales. Students will write their own fairy tales and stories inspired by the form.

The class will be taught by Elise Winn Pollard, who earned her master’s degree in creative writing from UC Davis.

The fee is $95 for Art Center members and $105 for the general public. To enroll, stop by the Art Center at 1919 F. St., call 530-756-4100 or register online at www.davisartcenter.org.
