‘Art of Acting’ offered at Senior Center

Have you ever wanted to be on the stage? Now’s your chance!

Roberta Stuart will teach an “Art of Acting” class this fall at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St. It will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, Sept. 3-24, for students age 18 and older. The fee is $40.

Participants of all levels of ability and experience are welcome to join the class, which will emphasize solid character development, but also will explore sense memory exercises, improvisation within written scenes, cold reading and audition techniques.

Stuart is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has worked professionally in the entertainment industry for more than 40 years.
