By From page A3 | April 02, 2014

Yolo County Assessor Joel Butler has announced that his office will return to being open five days a week.

“Thanks to the support of (County Administrator) Patrick Blacklock and the action of the Board of Supervisors, we are finally sufficiently funded to adequately staff the office,” he said in a news release.

The Assessor’s Office will resume operations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning April 7.

“We have wanted to do this for a while but haven’t been able to due to lack of staffing,” Butler said.
