The Davis community is invited to Fairfield Elementary School’s annual auction, which runs from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Lillard Hall, 24905 County Road 95 in rural West Davis.

This fundraising event will feature both live and silent auctions with a variety of items up for bid, including season passes for four at the Del Mar racetrack in Southern California, sports tickets, Monterey Bay Aquarium tickets and a raffle to win a balloon ride and champagne breakfast from Napa Balloons.

This year’s theme, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” celebrates Fairfield School’s 144-year history of parents, teachers and community working hand in hand to create a unique and rich learning environment for Davis children. Proceeds from the auction will fund instructional aide time, hands-on science programs, the library and computer lab.

In addition to the live and silent auctions, the evening will include food, drinks and music. Admission is free to this adult-only event.
