Karen Levy of Davis will present her book, “My Father’s Garden,” at a reading from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at International House, 10 College Park in Davis.
The book is the story of a young girl who comes of age in two languages on two shores and between warring parents. She struggles to find her voice, torn between her native Israel and the United States. Is she more Israeli or American? How will she know when she has arrived home? She choose to slowly transplant bits of her father’s garden on American soil.
Admission is free. For more information, call I-House at 530-753-5007.
