Davis residents are reminded to mail their ballots in the Measure I water project special election early enough that they’ll arrive at the Yolo County Elections Office in Woodland by Tuesday, March 5. No postage is required.

Ballots also may be hand-delivered to a secure box at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis, or to the Elections Office in Room B05 at the County Administration Building, 625 Court St. in Woodland.

The Elections Office also will open a standard polling place on March 5 at the Veterans’ Memorial Center, 203 E. 14th St., for voters who want to cast their ballots in person. Hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For more information, call the Elections Office at 530-666-8133.
