Davis residents can get detailed information about the Davis Joint Unified School District’s budget through District Dollars, a web-based, interactive program found at www.DistrictDollars.org or as a quick link on the district’s website, www.djusd.net.
The site provides recently updated information about:
* How California pays for its schools;
* How much money the Davis district gets and how it is spent;
* Different options for balancing the budget; and
* Measure E and Proposition 30 on the Nov. 6 ballot.
District Dollars lets visitors ask questions, provide feedback and share their own values about education priorities. The site is a collaboration of the Davis school district and the Davis Community Network and is maintained by community volunteers.
