Bell-ringers sought for holiday drive

Be there with bells on!

Well, what local Salvation Army supporters really want is people to be there to ring the bell — the holiday kettle drive bell, that is.

Volunteer bell-ringers are being recruited to man the kettles between Monday, Dec. 2, and Monday, Dec. 23.

To sign up for a shift at the Davis post office, contact Toni Smith at [email protected] or 530-574-6052. To snag a shift in front of CVS/pharmacy, contact Berry at [email protected] or 530-753-6437.

In addition, volunteers are needed to ring the bell the week of Dec. 2 in front of Save Mart, and at Safeway in the Oakshade Town Center on Dec. 11-13. Contact Smith via email or phone to sign up.

Or, visit www.schedule.davisbellringers.com.

Money deposited in the red kettle is used for the annual back-to-school shopping spree for 75 Davis children, food vouchers at Save Mart and grocery gift cards for STEAC holiday baskets.
