Bingo! Games Sunday benefit summer camp

By From page A15 | June 09, 2013

Feeling lucky? Try your hand at bingo on Sunday at the Davis Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second St. downtown. Doors open at noon, and the first game begins at 1 p.m. Typically, 14 or 15 games are played and the fun usually ends about 4 p.m.

Players can purchase bingo packets for $20, which supplies sufficient cards to play all games during the afternoon. Economy packs cost $12 each.

Cash prizes are offered to winners, including $250 for the final blackout bingo game. Proceeds will benefit the Davis Encampment, a branch of Odd Fellows, whose mission is to send needy children to summer camp.

The Odd Fellows also operate a snack bar offering hot dogs, nachos, cold drinks, candy and other snacks.
