Davis Police Chief Landy Black will be the featured speaker at a meeting of the Davis Progressive Business Exchange from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at International House, 10 College Park in Davis.

Black will talk about his successful community policing program. Since Black took over as chief, Davis has seen a reduction in domestic violence, racially motivated crimes and 911 calls on Picnic Day.

The business group meets for lunchtime meetings on the first and third Wednesdays at I-House. Community members are welcome and there is no charge to attend. RSVP to Richard Yamagata at 530-848-8634 or email [email protected].
