‘Bloom’ floral demonstrations planned Sunday

Creative floral designs will be paired with works of art Sunday in the “Bloom” exhibit at the Pence Gallery, 212 D St. in downtown Davis. The exhibit will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; admission is free.

Between 2 and 5 p.m., floral designers will demonstrate how to create an arrangement using innovative plant materials and simple techniques. Designer Courtney Kett is scheduled at 2:20 p.m., Rhody Vallejo at 3 p.m., Helen Tashima at 3:40 p.m. and Ray Borton at 4:20 p.m.

Participating artists also will give talks about their work, including Brenda Louie at 2 p.m., Mary Warner at 2:40 p.m., Shirley Hazlett at 3:20 p.m., Sandy Delehanty at 4 p.m. and Ann Marie Campbell at 4:40 p.m.
