Breast cancer meeting looks at alternative methods

Dr. Maxine Barish-Wreden will present “Complementary and Alternative Methods in Breast Cancer Treatment” at a breast cancer educational program Monday, Feb. 10. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at University Covenant Church, 315 Mace Blvd.

Barish-Wreden is a specialist in using comparative and alternative methods in medicine. She will give an update on the ways these methods can be used in breast cancer treatment. There will be a time for questions and answers.

The educational program, sponsored by the Breast Cancer Care and Research Fund, will take place in Room 126 of the church.
