Davis Downtown invites local businesses and community members to Wednesday’s Davis Downtown brown-bag luncheon to discuss the past, present and future of concerts and music events in downtown Davis.

“From the Davis Music Fest to the Davis Downtown Fall Welcome Street Concert, music plays a major role in the excitement and energy that takes place on a regular basis in our downtown,” a news release said.

“At this open discussion, we will review past downtown music events, where we are today, and how organizations can coordinate, cross-promote and become partners in organizing future events.”

This meeting is a call for people to harness their energy and love for music and become members of the Davis Downtown Summer Concert Series Committee.

The meeting will run from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the conference room at the Davis Chamber of Commerce, 604 Third St. Participants are welcome to bring a lunch or purchase one at any downtown eatery.

For more information, contact Stewart Savage, executive director, at 530-392-8324 or [email protected].
