Lending Works Inc., a local nonprofit organization, will host a business fair this week for owners of small, micro-enterprises who wish to either sell their products or exhibit their business information.

The fair will run from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Veterans’ Memorial Center, 203 E. 14th St. It is free and open to the public.

Lending Works Inc. was founded in 2007; it provides loans to Northern California residents with disabilities who are interested in starting or expanding their micro-enterprise businesses. The company gives interest-free loans of up to $3,000.

“We want to help people make money, have independence, gain confidence and contribute to their communities,” a news release said.
