By From page A3 | July 16, 2014

New guidelines have been implemented, making more local residents eligible for Cal-Fresh benefits, the Center for Families in Davis announces.

The CalFresh program can add to a family’s food budget to help put healthy and nutritious food on the table. The program issues monthly electronic benefits that can be used to buy most foods at many markets and food stores.

Now, more families and individuals with higher incomes are eligible for the benefits. Registration and information are available at the Center for Families at 441 D St. in downtown Davis. The center is open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To schedule an appointment, stop by or call 530-757-1261 or 530-406-7221.
