Cancer treatment expert will speak March 10

Patricia R. Wheeler, author of the recently published book, “Cancer: How to Make Survival Worth Living — Coping With Long-Term Effects of Cancer Treatment,” will be the guest speaker at the March 10 meeting of the Yolo Prostate Cancer Support Group.

Wheeler, a Woodland Community College adjunct professor of philosophy who wrote her book in consultation with her physician, will discuss management of the persistent physical and psychological side-effects of cancer treatment.

The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Woodland Community & Senior Center, 2001 East St. in Woodland.
