Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at I-House

By From page A3 | March 17, 2013

Children and adults are invited to join storyteller Angela James in an unusual Caribbean/Irish program, “Knick Knack Paddy Whack,” at 2 p.m. Sunday at International House, 10 College Park. Be sure to wear green! James, a Sacramento resident, also is a member of Fenix Drum and Dance troupe.

The Children’s International Storytelling Program runs 11 months a year (not December) at I-House.

“Thanks to a grant from Target, we are able to pay our performers a small stipend,” said Elisabeth Sherwin, executive director. “We like to introduce children age about 4 to 9 to stories from other countries to widen their horizons.”
