Chili cook off and car show in Dixon

Dixon’s Grillin’ & Chillin’ 2: Pork Rib and Chili Cook Off and Car Show is Saturday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Highway 113. The old-fashioned street fair is sponsored by the Dixon’s A-Team of volunteers and the Downtown Dixon Business Association.

Entertainment will be supplied again this year by Whiskey Dawn, 48 Straight and other local bands who will be performing throughout the day.

Twenty different artisans are crafters booths are slated. This event helps spotlight the many nonprofit groups in Dixon. The DDBA is committed to helping these nonprofit groups by providing opportunities to showcase their many services.
