The once-a-month city of Davis booth will be open at the Davis Farmers Market in Central Park from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. City staff and Council members Rochelle Swanson and Brett Lee will be available to answer questions about city services, programs and facilities. The booth will be at the north end of the market.
The Public Works Department will be highlighted Saturday. Department staff will answer questions and provide information about the city’s recycling and bicycling activities, Street Smarts traffic safety program, capital improvement projects and more.
City pamphlets such as the new Fall Recreation Guide, bike maps and special events information can be picked up at the booth. Public input may be dropped into a suggestion box.
As part of the City Council’s effort to improve communication with members of the public, the city makes available the “City Hall at the Market” booth regularly at the Farmers Market. For information, call 530-757-5602.
