The Davis Food Co-op seeks donations by shoppers in November to help purchase turkeys for the Yolo Food Bank’s 500 Thanksgiving food baskets.

Donations will be accepted through Nov. 28, and may be made at the registers or by check. Checks should be made payable to “Davis Food Co-op turkey donations” and mailed to Davis Food Co-op, Attn: Julie Cross, 620 G St., Davis, CA 95616.

The Co-op also is accepting donations of nonperishable food for the Food Bank, which may be dropped off near the registers during regular store hours, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Co-op will close at 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

For information, call Cross at 530-758-2667, ext. 139.
