A concert to benefit the Davis High School Cultural Exchange Club is planned for 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Davis Lutheran Church, 317 E. Eighth St. Performers are members of the DHS Young Musicians’ Outreach Club, including club president Rachel Baek, DHS Baroque Ensemble concertmistress Jacqueline Liu and DHS Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Brian Li.

Tickets are $5 at the door, and refreshments will be provided afterwards. In addiction, there will be a silent auction before the performance.

The Cultural Exchange Club, through the Davis Friends of Sangju Committee, participates in an annual student exchange with schools from Sangju, South Korea, a sister city of Davis. After visiting Sangju in the summer, the Cultural Exchange Club will welcome 10 students from Sangju in October. Funds raised at the concert will be used to offset the cost of their weeklong visit to Davis.
