County website now accessible through mobile devices

Yolo County has converted its website, http://www.yolocounty.org, to be compatible with the small screens of smart phones and tablets.

Visitors to the site can use their mobile devices to view upcoming events and county news releases, visit the web pages of all county departments, and find specific resources for the community, businesses and visitors to Yolo County.

“It is important to us to utilize as many avenues available to us to connect with our residents and share information related to county programs and services,” said Yolo County Board of Supervisors Chair Matt Rexroad.

“With mobile access to the Internet now exceeding desktop computer-based access, it makes sense to convert our website so it is compatible with mobile devices.”
