The Davis Baha’i Community’s annual Ayyam-i-Ha celebration will take place Friday, Feb. 28, at the Davis United Methodist Church, 1620 Anderson Road, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Ayyam-i-Ha, which can be translated as Days of Joy, is a five-day period during which Baha’is perform acts of charity and hospitality. The days of Ayyam-i-Ha are followed by a 19-day fast, which involves abstaining from food and drink from sun-up to sundown.

Friday’s event includes dinner and entertainment. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend. For more information, call 530-792-7175 or email bahais.davis@sbcglobal.net.
