Davis Flower Arrangers make holiday decorations
The Davis Flower Arrangers will meet at International House, 10 College Park, on Wednesday for their annual holiday decorations workshop. Everybody will be making something to take home. Come at 7 p.m. to enjoy the creative atmosphere; refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
If you want to make a wreath, a door swag or a table arrangement, there will be flowers and greens for you to use, as well as some vases and jars. If you have a special vase to fill, or a wreath frame that is just the right size, you may bring it and make use of the wire, oasis and other arrangement aids that will be provided along with advice and suggestions from all the surrounding workshop participants.
“Please bring your own wire cutters and scissors,” a news release said. “If you have flowers, greens or decorations that you would like to share with other workshop participants, they will be very welcome.”
A fee of $10 will be charged nonmember guests. Annual memberships in the Davis Flower Arrangers are available for $40.
