Davis Food Co-op beer tasting to benefit SADVC

By From page A8 | January 06, 2013

The Davis Food Co-op, 620 G St., will host a tasting of beers from Deschutes Brewery to benefit the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Center from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. The cost is $5 to taste the slate or $1 per taste.

SADVC served more than 2,050 survivors of violence in 2011. Its mission is to eliminate sexual assault and domestic violence through sensitive prevention, intervention and treatment. Even very small donations can provide help — $24 provides one night of shelter for a victim of domestic violence.
