Dementia series offered in Woodland

The Woodland Senior Center and Yolo Hospice are offering “Accepting the Challenge,” a four-part, in-depth series on dementia, designed to teach caregivers how to provide the best care for people with the disease.

Sessions on “What is Dementia?” “Skill Building,” “Ways of Helping” and “Dealing with Problem Behaviors” are planned beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays, Aug. 8, 15, 22 and 29, at the Woodland Community & Senior Center, 2001 East St.
