By From page A5 | March 19, 2013

The Davis High School speech and debate team invites the community to its first showcase on Friday, March 29, in the Brunelle Performance Hall at DHS, 315 W. 14th St. Members of the DHS forensic program will present award-winning speeches and a debate on gun control.

The evening will begin with a silent auction starting at 6:30 p.m. and presentations at 7 p.m. The team hopes to raise enough money to send its coach to a training camp at the Stanford National Forensic Institute as well as to pay for league participation next year.
