By From page A8 | October 28, 2012

The Winters Community Library and the Winters High School Personas del Mundo club will co-host the second annual Día de los Muertos Celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the Margaret Parsons Room of the library, 708 Railroad Ave. in Winters.

This year’s event will pay special homage to authors and library supporters who have died during the last year. Activities will include music, guest speakers, sugar skull decorating, nail art, calavera face painting and antojitos (light snacks and refreshments).

The public is welcome to place offerings of flowers, photographs, bread and other symbolic offerings for loved ones who have died on the community altar that will be on display through Nov. 14.
