“9/11 in the Academic Community,” directed by A. Zuberi, will be screened at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Davisville Apartments Clubhouse, 1221 Kennedy Place.

“The 75-minute documentary confronts the academy’s uncritical response to the defining event of our times,” organizer Rodney Robinson says. “It is an essential film for everyone in an academic community.”

Says Stephen LeRoy, professor emeritus of economics at UC Santa Barbara, “… (the film) performs a valuable service by reminding us of what we already knew: that academics are seekers of truth, but especially comfortable truth.”
