Enjoy a cool walk with Sierra Club

By From page A5 | April 02, 2013

Sierra Club hosts morning walks in Davis on Tuesdays and Thursdays year-round. The group meets at 7 a.m. at Peet’s Coffee & Tea in The Marketplace at Sycamore Lane and Covell Boulevard. All are welcome. Rain cancels the walk.

The walking distance is about 4.5 miles in 90 minutes. The group will return to Peet’s about 8:30 a.m. Watch for wild turkeys, geese, raptors, coyotes and other wild visitors to Davis greenbelts, ponds, fields, ditches, dirt paths, gardens, Village Homes, the UC Davis campus and the Arboretum.
