Enjoy art, French and Spanish at Logos Books

“Mixed Media Discoveries” — an exhibit of watercolors, photography, oil and acrylic by local artists Ann Privateer and Mary Anne Kirsch — continue to be featured throughout the summer at Logos Books, 513 Second St. in downtown Davis.

Both artists will be present to meet the public and talk about their art at the Second Friday ArtAbout on Friday, Aug. 9, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. All are welcome to meet the artists, enjoy their creations and have light refreshments.

La Table Française meets the second Wednesday of every month from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Logos Books. The next meeting is Wednesday, Aug. 14. Check logosbooks.wordpress.com for topic information.

El Círculo Español meets the third Monday of the month from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the bookstore. The next meeting is Monday,
