Exchange program seeks host families

International Student Support and Educational Services, seeks 27 Davis families to host a graduate student from Osaka University for four weeks, starting Aug. 15.

Students taking part in this program will be attending a customized language program offered by UC Davis Extension. Host families will provide a private, furnished room with bed, linens, desk, chair, dresser/closet space and Internet connection plus two meals a day — breakfast and dinner.

Students are interested in learning about American culture and lifestyle. Host families will receive a stipend to cover expenses, including room and board.

In addition, host families are needed for students arriving for the fall quarter as well. For more information, contact Lester Neblett at 530-848-5059 or [email protected] Learn more about ISSES at www.isses-community.com.
