Family caregiving topics to be covered

The Family Caregiving 101 Education Series brown-bag lunch on Thursday, Oct. 4, will feature Jodie Valley of the Yolo Adult Day Health Center. She will speak on “The 3 D’s: Dementia, Delirium, Depression.” Valley’s talk will begin at noon in the Railsback Building at Woodland Healthcare, 1207 Fairchild Court in Woodland. Admission is free and all are welcome. For more information, call 530-666-8828.

On Thursday, Oct. 11, the Triple S (Share, Support and Solve) Family Caregiver Group will meet at noon at the same location. Brown-bag lunchers are welcome.

On Saturday, Oct. 20, “Care Planning: A Part of Aging” will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Yolo Adult Day Health Center, 20 N. Cottonwood St. in Woodland. Registration is required; space is limited. A $20 donation is requested to cover lunch and supplies.
