The Winters Friends of the Library will sponsor the annual Family Holiday Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, the Winters Community Center, 201 Railroad St.

The Community Center will be decorated in festive style for the arrival of Santa and one of his elves — bring your camera for a great holiday photo. Children can choose to make several crafts including tin trivets, beeswax candles, votive candleholders, felt ornaments and more.

There will also be a gift-wrap station where children can wrap their homemade gifts. Other activities include lunch served in Mrs. Claus’ Café, a holiday wreath sale, a quilt raffle and a Scholastic Book Fair. Entertainment will continue nonstop throughout the event with several classes of local schoolchildren and other performing.
