Federal retirees to hear from congressman’s aide

“How To Influence Your Congressman and What Can He Do For You” will be the title of Elly Fairclough’s talk Tuesday to the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association Golden Harvest Chapter 2139. The group will meet at 12:15 p.m. at the Woodland Community & Senior Center, 2001 East St. in Woodland. Members of the Woodland Senior Center retiree assistance group also will attend.

Fairclough, a Davis resident, is deputy district director for Rep. John Garamendi, D-Walnut Grove, and is based in the congressman’s Davis office.

NARFE is one of America’s oldest and largest federal employee/retiree associations with the mission of protecting the earned rights and benefits of America’s active and retired federal workers.
