By From page A3 | September 05, 2013

The Golden Harvest Chapter 2139 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association invites federal workers and retirees to its next meeting at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodland Community & Senior Center, 2001 East St. Distinguished member certificates will be presented to 25 members for 20 or more years of membership. Virginia Joyce, M.D., will review the services provided by Yolo Hospice.

Action to oppose Congress adopting the chained-Consumer Price Index to determine cost-of-living adjustments also will be discussed because it would reduce benefits for Social Security recipients, veterans and retired federal employees.
