Filipino stories to be told at I-House

Nancy Clemente from the Davis-Yolo County Filipinos group will present a program on her native country. Nancy Clemente of the Davis-Yolo County Filipinos Group will share two stories from her childhood — “Juan Tamad” and “The Turtle and the Monkey” — Sunday at International House.

The program, which also includes a demonstration of the traditional Philippine Tinikling Dance, will run from 2 to 3 p.m. at International House, 10 College Park in Davis.

The Children’s International Storytelling Program is designed for children ages 4 to 9 with accompanying adults.
