Films showcase world languages at DHS

The Davis High School world language department will host a film festival Friday, screening films set in countries representing the five languages that are offered to students at Davis High.

Refreshments will be available starting at 6:30 p.m., and the films begin at 7 p.m. in P building classrooms on campus, 315 W. 14th St. Films are: “Friendship,” sponsored by the German Club; “Les Misérables,” French Club; “White Snake,” Chinese Club; “Howl’s Moving Castle,” Japanese Club; and “¡Viva Cuba!,” Latinos Union.

The public is invited to attend.
