Free showing of ‘Save the Farm’ set

The Cross Cultural Series at Woodland Community College will show the film “Save the Farm” from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Multicultural Enrichment Center in Building 100 on campus, 2300 E. Gibson Road in Woodland.

The film is about one of the largest organic farms created by mostly Latino families, which fed thousands of people in a local community. Following the film will be a discussion with Liz Chavez, a member who was involved in this organic farm and food justice movement.

The film and discussion are free and open to the public. Parking is $2. For more information, email [email protected].
