Ever wonder what UC Davis scientists are working on? Ever wonder how their research can influence your life?

The SAY-IT public lecture series aims to provide you with these answers. This free public lecture series kicks off at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Pence Gallery, 212 D St. in downtown Davis, featuring Bruce German discussing the science of food. He’ll talk about how we are all different and obtain nutrition differently from various foods, how we digest only as well as our bacteria can digest food and how each of us learns about food differently.

Seating is limited; doors will open at 6 p.m. Following the lecture, there will be ample time for discussions with the scientists, while enjoying light refreshments.
