Garden Goddesses
The Yolo County Library presents “Garden Goddesses” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at the Winters Community Library, 708 Railroad Ave. in Winters. Authors Kami McBride and Spring Warren will share helpful garden tips and inspirational ideas on how to use your garden harvest in more ways than you ever thought possible.
When Warren (“The Quarter Acre Farm”) announced to her family that she wanted to grow 70 percent of their food, her family thought she was crazy. Now they are her biggest fans.
McBride (“The Herbal Kitchen”) is an author, herbalist and teacher that has helped thousands of people learn to use herbal medicine in their daily lives. Join her as she explores the extraordinary pharmacy that already exists in your own garden.
