Get a ‘taste’ for fitness at city classes

By From page A3 | January 31, 2013

The city of Davis is offering a “Fitness Appetizer Night” — a sampling of its classes — from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Veterans’ Memorial Center, 203 E. 14th St. The event costs $6 and is open to those 18 years and older. Fit Pass participants are welcome.

The night features a little bit of everything, including stretching, cardio, weights and yoga with various instructors.

The format will mimic the structure of a typical fitness class. Participants should remember to wear fitness clothes and bring a water bottle.
