The Gibson House Writers welcomes newcomers to their meeting at 10 a.m. Monday at 512 Gibson Road in Woodland. Writers will share works in progress and get feedback at this friendly gathering.

“If you’re working on fiction, nonfiction and/or memoir, you’re welcome to visit to see if this group is a good match for you,” a news release said. Using dialog to reveal character will be among the topics of discussion.

The meeting is sponsored by the Yolo County Historical Museum. A donation of $10 is suggested and reservations are requested. For more information or to reserve a space, contact the facilitator, Kristine Mietzner, at 707-319-4228 or [email protected].
