The Good Health Festival, a gathering of local health care and family-service businesses to promote health and safety in the community and to raise funds for the public schools, will run from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Covell Professional Center, corner of Anderson Road and Covell Boulevard.

More than 30 vendors will represent health, fitness, art and education. Each will have fun and interactive activities for the whole family.

Scheduled events include a CPR class with AMR Ambulance; tours of a fire engine; a DARE drug awareness program; live performances with many youth music, dance and martial arts groups; a performance by local rock group Tha Dirt Feelin; a bounce house; a clown; and a balloon animal maker. Raffle prizes will be awarded.

Food is catered food by Smokey D’s BBQ.

An open house at Gerner Chiropractic is offering chiropractic, massage and acupuncture services for a fee, with all proceeds to be donated to the Davis Schools Foundation.

Call 530-297-5683 to schedule appointment.
