Group will practice compassionate communication

By From page A4 | October 27, 2013

All are invited to a free two-hour workshop on developing more compassionate communication. The free event, which will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, will include interactive games and exercises.

“We’ve all inherited destructive communication habits, and so we must practice new tools and skills in communicating openly, honestly and compassionately,” said Alex Leach, a nonviolent communication teacher/counselor.

The group will meet on the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m. and the third Sunday at 3 p.m. in Room 8 at the Episcopal Church of St. Martin, 640 Hawthorn Lane. Classrooms are behind the church and to the left, next to the parking lot.
