Talent show tryouts slated

The city of Davis Community Services Division is on the lookout for performers for the third annual “Davis’ Got Talent” show.  Auditions will take place Friday, Nov. 9, at a time yet to be determined based on the number of people auditioning.

Twelve performers will be selected to compete during the final at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Veterans’ Memorial Theatre, 203 E. 14th St., for the chance to win the grand prize  of $200 and the opportunity to perform at next year’s Fourth of July celebration. Area residents of any age with a performing talent are encouraged to audition. Register early, as the number of audition slots is limited. The cost of $10 per audition.
