Hear poetry in the garden on Thursday

By
From page A11 | October 07, 2012 |

Local residents are invited to hear Davis poets Spring Warren and Jill Stengel share their work in the pastoral setting of the UC Davis Arboretum from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday on the Wyatt Deck at UC Davis.

Warren grew up on a Wyoming ranch, and is the author of “The Quarter-Acre Farm: How I Kept the Patio, Lost the Lawn, and Fed My Family for a Year.” Stengel brings an interest in a number of writing efforts, and actively participates in the poet-moms listserv community.

Admission is free. For more information, call 530-752-4880 or visit arboretum.ucdavis.edu.
